ENYS Gardens
This group of images called Inside/Outside are from the exhibition EMBEDDED held at Enys Gardens in Falmouth in the summer of 2014.
Photographs were taken inside the newly opened house (in particular the views of windows, doors and corridors) which had been closed for over six decades. They were then printed onto original roof slates from the old stables, using silver gelatin emulsion.
During the exhibition these slates were hung outside on the brick walls of the flower garden giving the illusion of windows into interior views of the house.
